Tradition Text: عن النٌبی صلی اللٌه علیه و آله قال: ... الا و انٌ اللٌه و رسوله بریئان ممٌن اضرٌ بامرأة حتیٌ تختلع منه و من اضرٌ بامرأة حتٌی تفتدی منه لم یرض اللٌه عنه بعقوبة دون النٌار، لانٌ اللٌه یغضب للمرأة کما یغضب للیتیم.
عن النٌبی صلی اللٌه علیه و آله قال: ... الا و انٌ اللٌه و رسوله بریئان ممٌن اضرٌ بامرأة حتیٌ تختلع منه و من اضرٌ بامرأة حتٌی تفتدی منه لم یرض اللٌه عنه بعقوبة دون النٌار، لانٌ اللٌه یغضب للمرأة کما یغضب للیتیم.
Translation: From the sayings of the Holy Prophet (P):" … be aware that Allah and His Apostle dislikes one who mistreats his wife in such a way that she is compelled to relinquish her right (dowry) and request a divorce. Furthermore, Allah will not be satisfied with anything but hell for a man who harms his wife, causing her to relinquish her right (in which her release depends upon the non- acceptance of her dowry); moreover Allah's Wrath will kindle (in protection) of a woman similar to that for an orphan.
